This year first grade will be learning Bible memory verses from different books of the Bible.  The verses coordinate with our Biblical units of study.  Each week your student will receive a new verse to learn by heart. On Fridays, students will recite the verse to the teacher.

The word is near you, it is in your mouth and in your heart, so you may obey it.

Christmas Verse:

For  to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6
